Project Overview

Green Man’s Arms is an enchanting vegetarian pub located in the heart of Carlton.

The clients wanted to create a unique character for the brand, drawing on mythical and folklore inspiration. It was intended that the Green Man character would become larger than life in the storytelling behind the brand premise. And he has.

The Solution

The Green Man became a central component to the brand. The essence of the Green Man was connected to the earth and the abundance of nature.

The character was illustrated in many iterations based on a garden ornament the client had seen. An initial line drawing was then built upon layer to re-create the textures and tones of the character.

A modern website design was chosen to represent the modern menu options available, and supported by photography which looks good enough to eat.
